Easy Tomato Soup



10 roma tomatoes
1 roasted red pepper ( i used a few slices from a jar of red peppers in oil olive.)
1 half large white onion chopped
1 T mined garlic
1 c chicken broth
1 T salt
2 T oregano
1 T basil
1/2 heavy cream


Sweat onions and garlic in large skillet for 5 minutes. Blend tomatoes and red pepper in blender and add to onions, reduce heat. Add salt, oregano, basil and chicken broth and let simmer for 15 minutes. When mixture has reduced by about half but back in blender with heavy cream until smooth. Enjoy by its self or with a grilled cheese sandwich.
