Onion Pie



1 C cracker crumbs (saltines) or pre-made pie crust
4 T butter, melted
2 T butter
2 eggs
¾ tsp salt
¼ shredded cheddar cheese
2 c onion, thinly sliced
¾ c milk
Dash of pepper
Paprika

Mix together the cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom and sides of an 8 inch pie plate. Set aside. Sauté onions in butter until transparent. Put into cracker crust. Beat eggs. Add milk, salt and pepper. Pour over onions. Sprinkle top with grated cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until set. Serve hot.
