Strawberry Whipped Icing



·         1 ½ c butter cream icing (recipe below)
·         1 large container of whipped topping
·         1 small container of fresh strawberries ( more or less if you want)


Slowly mix together whipping topping and buttercream. Fold in strawberries. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.
Whipped Buttercream Icing
·         2 c cisco
·         8 c (2lbs) confectioners’ sugar
·         ½ tsp salt
·         1-2 tsp clear vanilla extract
·         6-8 oz whipping cream

Makes about 7 cups 

Cream shortening until fluffy. Add sugar slowly and continue creaming until well blended. Add salt, vanilla and whipping cream. Blend on low speed until moistened then beat on high until fluffy.
